The Healthy Workplace scheme supports Southend-on-Sea organisations to improve the health and wellbeing of their staff via various initiatives. It starts with employees completing a short staff survey which helps identify priorities, embed plans of action and support accessing Public Health Services based on staff responses and needs. The service can offer FREE access to services such as healthy eating, physical activity, weight management, stop smoking and mental health awareness. There is also limited access to free training.
